Market Update / We’re On The Move…
So Q1 is drawing to a close, and I detect an ever-so-slight uptick in sentiment in the market, with more offers being extended and more candidates keen to make a move. Firms' Q1 results will have a major bearing on their confidence and ability to hire in Q2 and whilst I don't see a wholesale lifting of freezes / chills (which are in place despite firms' protestations to the contrary) until summertime, I do see firms appreciating that to try to do the same things with the same folks - at least in the sales area - may not be the best [...]
