Our client, a major provider of benchmarking services to the global institutional investor community, is looking for a highly experienced Operations Director to manage all processes involved in producing monthly reporting for multiple clients in multiple jurisdictions for their entire benchmarking product suite. Other responsibilities include managing a small team of home-working producing staff, giving guidance and leadership to them, managing the flow of raw data into the firm and ensuring that target delivery timeframes for reporting are maintained or bettered. They will be the business owner of all of the firm’s bespoke software liaising, directing and owning all development and maintenance processes.
The successful candidate will have 10+ years’ experience in, ideally, both a custodian and asset management environment along with proven technology development experience and high level academic qualifications. A good understanding of fund accounting would be very beneficial. This position will be home-based, with the ideal candidate likely residing in either London or Edinburgh.
