Our client, a fast growing Fintech in the PERE space, is looking for a Programme Manager with strong and practical experience in programme management in fund services with large, complex projects and change initiatives. Knowledge of project and programme methodologies is a key requirement. The successful candidate will manage several client and product programmes and coordination through the programme lifecycle(s) through different engagement models – large clients will mean dealing directly with client change teams or indirect via third-party consultants and smaller clients will mean dealing directly with clients unfamiliar with change governance.
More specifically, the role will involve:
Programme governance in accordance with existing controls framework
Programme planning, monitoring progress and managing agreed budget(s)
Setting and tracking change control procedures
Managing and utilising resources required to achieved agreed programme deliverables
Managing programme risks and issues and taking corrective actions
Agreeing deliverables and aligning to expected programme outcomes, including setting quality standards
Communication with internal and client stakeholders from project initiation through to completion, including initiation documentation and regular programme reporting
Chairing or participating in steering committees and client meetings
“Player-manager” role in project scoping, client/prospect engagements, team member reviews, technical and business proposals and supporting new business opportunities.
No line management responsibilities though this may change over time.
